You could make mistakes that will cost you. For example, when I was just learning, I would get in the habit of copying stuff off of my home page and pasting it on another page. Stupid! If you have a second page with duplicate content on your site, your SEO can go way down. Google abhors duplicate content on a site! You can mess yourself up without even knowing it, just because you don't know what you are doing.

I recommend you learn something about uploading content to your site. You don't want to have to keep paying someone else to do what you can do easily and for nothing once you know how to do it. I can teach you.

I also edit (a skill that seems to be lacking on much of the net). Editing sharpens the work and makes you look like you know what you are doing. Editing makes the copy easy and fun to read. Sometimes you don't know why you are sticking with the writer. You could go have a sandwich or something; but this copy, it just begs to be read. A lot of times, it's the editing polish that makes a piece of writing so irresistible and persuasive.
